Compositions in Digital Media

                                            Rule Of Thirds;

Rule of thirds is one of the main “rules” in art and photographic composition and stems from the theory that the human eye naturally gravitates to intersection points that occur when an image is split into thirds.

                                                             Points of Power;
The intersecting point of two lines.

The Golden Rule;

    It affects the ratio (1:1.618) of a picture size, as well as the placement of the main subjects in the photo.

  Vertical and Horizontal Lines;

     Vertical lines have the ability to convey a variety of different moods in a photograph ranging from            power and strength (think of skyscrapers) to growth (think of trees).
As horizontal lines can be accentuated by shooting in horizontal format vertical lines can be       used very effectively by swapping the way you hold your camera into a vertical framing. This     lengthens the vertical subject further which can emphasize it’s height.
  Oblique lines;
Lines that are neither parallel nor perpendicular.

Curved lines;

lines allow the eye to explore the picture smoothly.
Adds texture and a different look to the photo.
